If you're feeling overwhelmed by:
your to-do list
your nervous system
your past
your technology use
If you’re tired of:
struggling to seem “okay,” when you feel like you can barely keep up with life
fighting to stay focused in a world filled with endless distractions
trying yet another habit or trick to change your life, just to fall into the same old patterns
Know that it is you I built Openworld counseling for!
Let me introduce myself!
Hi, I’m Brittany Vazquez, LPC-MHSP.
I’m a licenced professional therapist with over 10 years of experience. If you experience anxiety, depression, neurodivergence (ADHD/autism/sensory processing concerns), burnout, or chronic feelings of overwhelm, you’ve come to the right therapist!
The types of therapy I use are:
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy [ACT]
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy [DBT]
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing [EMDR]
Coherence Therapy
Somatic (body-focused) approaches.
Outside of sessions, Brittany may be found spending quality time with her family, reading (both personally and professionally), playing video & board games, tending to her aquarium, or planning her next trip to a Renaissance fair.
How do I know if Openworld Counseling is right for me?
Openworld Counseling was created for people who:
Are tired of trying to seem “okay” when their mental health makes any task feel impossible.
Are, or suspect they are, neurodivergent and who want to learn how to work with their brain, instead of against it.
Want to leave their past in the past but can't seem to let old fears and patterns go.
Work in the medical and/or helping professions and want to work with a therapist who understands the needs of these professionals AND has lived experience.
Want to have a healthier relationship with technology and/or gaming AND want to work with a therapist who understands the power technology has to build community and resilience.
